Major League Baseball has some of the deepest record books in sports. Turns out over the past few games for the Texas Rangers, they have the potential to do something that has not been seen since the 1908 Detroit Tigers.

Here is what the Rangers have done the past four games and if they make it five in a row, it breaks this record held by the 1908 Tigers. Every single Texas Rangers game has gone into extra innings.

Saturday, June 28 Rangers 3 / Mariners 2 Final After 10 Innings

Sunday, June 29 Mariners 6 / Rangers 4 Final After 12 Innings

Monday, June 30 Orioles 10 / Rangers 6 Final After 11 Innings

If the Rangers game goes to at least the 10th inning tonight against Baltimore, the Rangers will tie a MLB record for longest streak of consecutive extra inning baseball games. I will be attending the game tonight and I do NOT want this to happen. Why?

Driving Back to Wichita Falls After Back to Back Extra Inning Games is BRUTAL

I didn't get back home til 1AM because of extra innings last night and I really don't want that to happen again. Give me a standard three hour baseball game tonight and win it in nine innings. Also, I'm an Orioles fan. So I will be rooting for the Rangers to lose tonight, but we will see what happens. First pitch is set for 7:05 at Globe Life Field.
