Looks like the one ring to rule them all can't get you out of suspension. Quick where are those stupid eagles to come pick him up and save the day?

Aiden Steward was suspended from his elementary school in Kermit, Texas, on Friday, one day after making the alleged “terroristic threat,” as the Odessa American describes it. Aiden told his friend he was going to make his friend disappear.

How was he going to make him disappear? By placing his obviously fake ring from the movie 'The Lord of the Rings' on his friends hand. “It sounded unbelievable,” dad Jason Steward tells the New York Daily News, maintaining that his son “didn’t mean anything by it.”

“I assure you my son lacks the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend’s existence. If he did, I’m sure he’d bring him right back," Aiden's dad would go on to say.

Roxanne Greer is the principal at Aiden's school and she is taking this situation way too seriously. The father says Greer told him that threats to another child’s safety would not be tolerated, even if they were make believe.

The school has made a statement saying, 'All student stuff is confidential.'

As a kid who spent many an afternoon in detention for doing dumb stuff, come on school, lighten up. I understand you can't threaten anybody nowadays, but seriously the kids are using their imaginations. God forbid you try to have some fun.
