Lucky Texas Resident Scores $1 Million — One Jackpot Still Unclaimed

Where the $1 Million Ticket Was Sold

Anyway, our latest lucky lottery winner here in the Lone Star State scored a $1 million jackpot in the $1,000,000 Crossword game, according to a press release. The Magnolia resident bought the winning ticket at Hardin Food Store, located at 26335 Hardin Store Road, in Magnolia. As is usually the case, the winner opted to remain anonymous. 

That marks the fifth of six $1,000,000 jackpots to have been claimed in the game. In addition to the one remaining $1,000,000 jackpot-winning ticket in circulation, there are still seven $20,000 prizes that have yet to be claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize in the $1,000,000 Crossword game are one in 3.41, including breakeven prizes.

Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
