Texas Athletes Are Killing in at the Olympics

I am currently writing this Friday morning. As of right now the United States of America has 103 total medals, which leads the world for the most medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Something that is funny, if you just took the athletes from Texas that have medaled, they have more than some other countries. Currently Texas athletes have 35 medals. That is more than South Korea, Italy, Germany, and Canada to name a few.

Valarie Allman Wins Gold Medal in Paris

One of the many Texas athletes that have medaled is Valarie Allman. She now lives in Austin, Texas and became the first female Olympian to win two gold medals in any field event. She says after winning gold again, she has one thing she wants to celebrate with.

Valerie Will Be Celebrating With Texas Brisket When She Gets Home

In what maybe the most Texas response to what do you do after winning a gold medal? Valerie can't wait to get back home to Austin and get a pound of brisket at Terry Black's BBQ.
