Some people are on the fence about open carry, but if you're someone who loves discounted food. Time to go get a gun.

In Cypress, Texas, just outside of Houston, lies Brooks' place. A little barbecue joint that is nothing more than a trailer with a couple of picnic tables out front. Don't judge this place by it's looks, the locals say the brisket is amazing. If you pull up to Brooks' place, you will see some signs. No pets, short shorts or sagging pants. Another sign is posted, guns welcome.

Which I have seen a couple of no guns allowed on these premises signs here in Wichita Falls. Hell, one of them is the building I work in. Owner of Brooks' place, Trent Brooks said, “We felt a need to tell gun owners you don’t need to worry about being judged. Thank you for carrying your gun today.”

Brooks is showing his love for guns by giving patrons a 25% percent discount if you bring your gun. “In Texas, we have a saying: It’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it,” said Trent Brooks. So if you thought the open carry law was a bad thing. Hey, it can get you a discount on some good Texas barbecue.
