Metallica have unveiled the first release in The Metallica Vinyl Club 2.0, and it's a nod to a classic album and a virtual communication service.

In the first week of March 2020, Metallica announced their first-ever attempt at a vinyl subscription service known as, quite simply, The Metallica Vinyl Club.

They'll re-release 1996's 'No Code' and 1998's 'Yield' on vinyl along with 7-inch versions of 'Given to Fly' and 'Wishlist.'

Drummer Lars Ulrich said, "We are looking forward to screaming from every rooftop the next few months about everything independent record store and beyond."

A rare vintage vinyl record collection with an estimated value between $90K-$250K has been found in the unlikeliest of places — on a remote Air Force base located in the Pacific Ocean.
