You know sometimes bands can be pretty predictable and other times they do something that's totally unexpected...like release two different videos for the same song. I guess Black Stone Cherry decided to release a version of "In My Blood" that would connect more with their American audience and another for the rest of the world since the "official" video was uploaded by Roadrunner U.K.

I really got into Dream Theater's new album A Dramatic Turn Of Events when it first came out and then I found myself not listening to it as much after a few weeks but as soon as I checked out the new lyric video for "Build Me Up, Break Me Down" I realized it was time to go back and give it another spin.

Machine Head really pissed me off the first time I heard The Burning Red. Seriously - I took off work the day it was released and drove fifty miles to pick up a copy, threw it in and everything started off so promising. And then Rob Flynn started rapping.

I've liked KoRn since the first time a heard their self-titled debut...it just sounded really fresh to me. They were heavy yet really stripped-down and raw and at the time I never really thought they would blow up the way they did. Yeah, there was a certain amount of accessibility to their releases after Life Is Peachy but their core sound was still there and it still is today.

You know I'm always ready to hear me some new Megadeth and finally we get our first taste of the new album TH1RT3EN and I'm diggin' it. Upon first listen, "Public Enemy No. 1" kind of reminds me of Rust In Peace era Megadeth but a little less technical with the speed of their early stuff.

I'm ready to hear the new Machine Head album. Well...I'm always ready to hear the new Machine Head album, especially since they got their heads out of their asses after Supercharger and started going in the right direction again with the release of 2004's Through The Ashes Of Empires.
