On a cold and late Sunday night in 1987 the creepiest broadcast interruption occurred during a Dr. Who episode. A Video "Pirate" wearing a Max Headroom mask broke into the signal and transmitted weird alien like jumbles. Sigh... if only something like this would happen during our news...
