The state of Texas requires students participating on sports teams to do an annual sports physical. Most of the time, they're just looking for:

  • Allergies or asthma.
  • Hernias or unresolved injuries.
  • Areas of focus for stretching.
  • Undiagnosed heart murmurs or other irregularities

A sports physical cost usually starts around $35 and can vary depending on where you go. Good news for middle and high school students in Wichita Falls. You can get a FREE sports physical this Thursday from 2PM-5PM at the Community Healthcare Center located at 200 MLK Jr. Boulevard in Wichita Falls.
