If you're like a lot of people you love to try to figure out who the bad guy is in the movie before the plot makes it obvious. According to Knives Out director, Rian Johnson, there is one dead giveaway. At least there was until he spilled the beans.

While he was being interviewed by Vanity Fair, Rian let slip that Apple simply doesn't want any of their products in the hands of the bad guys onscreen. In the Vanity Fair interview Rian says, "Every single filmmaker who has a bad guy in a movie that's supposed to be a secret wants to murder me right now."

This may not be news to all of us as Wired broke the story back in 2002 when talking about the TV show 24 stating that all of the good guys were using Macs and all of the bad guys were using Windows PCs.

So what's a filmmaker to do if bad guys aren't allowed to use Apple products on screen? The obvious solution would be to give everyone a Samsung phone. Apple may want to rethink their position.
