Slipknot have broken their own personal YouTube record. The band's music video for "Unsainted"—the debut We Are Not Your Kind single that dropped last week—quickly climbed in viewing stats after its release revealed the band's new masks for their sixth album. Now, the clip has achieved a video milestone for Slipknot.

The group broke their personal 24-hour debut record with the "Unsainted" video, which earned over 4.7 million views in its first day out. The video peaked at No. 1 on the site's trending chart last week in the U.S., U.K. and Finland.

It's the first viewership accolade for the stunning video, which introduces Slipknot's retooled look, a visage among band members that vocalist Corey Taylor suggested is the act's most realized in a recent interview. "We are trying to find new territory we have never done before, not just set wise but visually," the singer said. "We are constantly trying to see what can be explored artistically."

The "Unsainted" video saw its unveiling around 48 hours before the tragic death of Gabrielle Crahan, Slipknot percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan's 22-year-old daughter, which was addressed by the band in a statement the following day. The band founder later thanked fans for their support.

The group is due to hit the road this summer. A slew of dates on the Knotfest Roadshow tour are scheduled before Slipknot links up with Metallica for a succession of concerts in Australia. You can see all the dates right here.
