Rumor of New Roller Coaster Coming to Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Over Texas is currently hard at work painting over their biggest roller coaster at the park, The Titan. This thing at it's peak comes in at 245 feet tall. Six Flags Over Texas is allegedly getting ready to go even bigger in 2026 with a brand new roller coaster.

FAA Proposal Leaks Online for Six Flags Over Texas

When a new tall structure is built, you have to let the Federal Aviation Administration know. Looks like a proposal is being talked about with a latitude of 32° 45' 15.33" N and a longitude of 97° 04' 18.03" W. If you put this into a GPS, it puts you on Six Flags Over Texas property near where the La Vibora bobsled ride was. It recently closed last year and it looks like a 309 foot coaster is going in.

New Coaster Will Be Right Under the Height of Millennium Force

If this 309 foot structure is true, that will put it at number nine for tallest coasters in the United States. Just above it would be Millennium Force at Cedar Point in Ohio. This coaster comes in at 310 feet at its peak. You can check it out above so you can get an idea of just how massive this new coaster will be.

When Can We Expect This New Ride to Open?

The proposed plan is currently called Project Rubi 1002. It it set to be under construction from 03/01/2025 to 03/30/2026, according to the FAA proposal. We will have to wait and see once Six Flags officially announces more progress in the future. As of right now, we just know something big is coming and it will be the biggest coaster that Six Flags Over Texas has ever seen.
