A newcomer to the national stage, Silvertung has been a stalwart of the Baltimore scene since the release of their debut album, The Pawn, in 2006.

Along the way, the band has shared the stage with rock heavy-hitters like Godsmack, Disturbed, Chevelle and Shinedown among others. It makes sense that a band who has made a habit of opening for the very acts that make up the core of artists for modern rock radio would eventually spread their gospel beyond their local market. Silvertung currently have shows booked through March throughout the Northeast and all signs point toward the band branching out even further.

One of the biggest steps to achieve national success is to have a hit single. Listen to Silvertung's first offering to radio, 'Coming Alive', and decide if it's worthy of regular airplay here on the Buzz.
