Wichita Falls has a lot of air traffic above it every day. Obviously with Sheppard Air Force Base and our local airport sharing a runway, they're in constant communication with each other when planes are coming in and landing. However, what about those small single engine planes flying into Wichita Falls? Turns out they occasionally cause some problems for our Sheppard Air Force Base pilots.
Wichita Falls Training Exercise When Small Plane Fails to Communicate
YouTuber Nathan Ballard got to fly with the “Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training” in Wichita Falls. Nathan's goal was to show small plane owners what happens when they fail to communicate while flying around, which is apparently a constant issue for pilots here in Wichita Falls. Nathan Ballard is a Master and Gold Seal certificated flight instructor. He promotes safer general aviation, provide thought provoking ideas about flying, and contribute to the aviation community for the greater good.

If you're someone who is interested in general aviation videos, Nathan seems to do a great job in breaking things down for beginners. Check out his page for more and hopefully we don't see him showing people above Wichita Falls doing the wrong thing again.
