The Seattle Mariners will honor one of their city's greatest bands ever, Alice in Chains with a special "Alice in Chains Night" at Safeco Field just ahead of the group's new album release.

The big night will take place at the Mariners Aug. 20 game against their division rival, the Houston Astros, with the team offering a package that includes a Safeco Field terrace club ticket, access to a pre-game listening party of the Rainier Fog album, an Alice in Chains t-shirt and a Rainier Fog CD. Alice in Chains have a long history with the city of Seattle and their love of sports. Back in 2015, the band performed at halftime of a Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship game. Jerry Cantrell has also rallied some of his musical peers and hometown celebrities in recent years to partake in a charity-based fantasy football league.

Alice in Chains' Rainier Fog album is due Aug. 24.
