Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator Is A Playable Mortal Kombat 11 Character
Come with me if you want to fatality.
The 11th installment of the classic fighting game series Mortal Kombat arrived in stores earlier this year, and today the game unveiled the members of its Kombat Pack DLC, which extends the game’s roster by half a dozen characters. Longtime MK fans will enjoy the addition of Shang Tsung and Nightwolf. Comic book nerds will probably be excited about Joker and Spawn. But movie fans are only going to care about one thing:
They can soon play as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator.
Here’s the trailer revealing the Arnold Mortal Kombat 11 character:
The Terminator (based on the appearance of Schwarzenegger in the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate sequel) seems like a perfect match for the ultra-violent world of Mortal Kombat. You can just imagine what his Fatalaties might be; like he blasts Sub-Zero with a future laser cannon, or he forces Scorpion to watch the entirety of Terminator: Salvation. That would be a hell of a way to go.
This is not he first time the Terminator has been a bonus DLC character in a video game, either. A few years ago, Arnold’s T-800 was a playable character in WWE 2K16, giving you the opportunity to have Schwarzenegger chokeslam the Undertaker. (Admittedly, he makes more sense in Mortal Kombat.)
You can buy the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack now. The release of the characters is staggered; the Terminator will be available on October 8.
