Saturday is Free Fishing Day in Texas

You can fish at any public body of water in Texas without a license this Saturday, June 1.

Free Fishing Day marks the start of National Fishing and Boating Week, which highlights the importance of recreational boating and fishing.

Even though you’re not required to have a license to fish, daily bag and size limits still apply. Fishing regulations are posted at this location.
