There are many things that make Neue Deutsche Härte pioneers Rammstein singular and treasurable, such as their lovably provocative music videos and extravagant costumes. (See: their clip for “Dicke Titten.”)

Above all else, though, it’s their mix of silly and serious lyrics that captures our hearts. Having touched upon everything from biting social issues (“Amerika,” “Deutschland") to explicit fornication (“Pussy”) and real-life cannibalism (“Mein Teil”), Rammstein are masters of inventive wordplay.

So, you can only imagine how much stranger things can get when you convert certain expressions from the original German to their English equivalent.
