Pearl Jam Keep The Good News Coming, Announce New Album

Last week, Pearl Jam announced their 2013 North American tour which is set to kick off October 11 in Pittsburgh and this week the news only gets better. They will be releasing their tenth studio album which will go by the name Lightning Bolt and will be available October 15. Think the good news ends there? Think again.

Pearl Jam also released the first single from the album, "Mind Your Manners," which you can go grab right now from Pearl Jam's website or listen to below. You can also pre-order your copy of Lightning Bolt from their website or on iTunes. The newest album has been in the works since 2011 and will follow 2009's Backspacer.

When asked how Pearl Jam has managed to stay together for twenty plus years, guitarist Mike McCready said, "With a lot of careful effort and talking to each other, I think, and hopefully having as clear lines of communication between each other as possible. I think we take the time to want to find solutions for the stuff that goes on in our band, if there's issues and problems and things, 'cause I think we love each other, and I know we love each other, and I know I love playing music with these guys."
