A few years ago you may remember seeing people rappel off of our iconic building in downtown Wichita Falls. Well, the organization is coming back and you can sign up to do it now.

Since 2004, the company Over the Edge has been hooking people up with thrilling rappel experiences across the world. One of the big things they do is for non profits. Folks will donate money to an organization to have someone from their rappel off of a building. Usually you pick someone in the organization that is scared of heights. Which is exactly what my boss did to me in 2018 for this event. Watch that below.

Yeah, I do not look excited hanging off of Big Blue. Over the Edge says in their 20 year history, they have helped raise over 145 million dollars for non profits across the world. Looks like they will be coming back to Wichita Falls on April 24th at 12PM to have people rappel off of Big Blue once again.

If you're interested in doing this event in just over a month, you can register at OverTheEdgeGlobal.com or call Nathan 1-866-434-8776 for more info.

I can say, even thought I hate heights. I felt safe the entire time and Over the Edge does a great job preparing anybody to take the journey off of Big Blue. If you need something to do on April 24th. You can get some great people watching in that day and hopefully nobody like me is having a panic attack on the side of the building.
