Octomom Nadya Suleman Wants Your Money – Asks for it on GoFundMe.com

Apparently the porn DVD and the stripping gigs just aren’t paying the bills, so Nadya Suleman is taking a new approach. She wants money, and she’d like it to come straight from you.

Octomom’s video came out on July 25^th, but it may be a while before she starts seeing profits from any sales. She was likely paid an upfront sum, but that didn’t stop her home (or more specifically, the home she was renting) from going into foreclosure last month, and now she has to find a new place to live.

Instead of going the traditional route, Suleman has set up a web page asking for donations. It’s a site called GoFundMe.com, and users can donate as little or as much as they want to her cause. The page was created on July 28^th, and she states that she’s “very close to being able to buy a home for [her] kids.” She’s hoping to raise $150,000 through the site.

Perhaps I’m missing something here, but I don’t think of $150,000 away as being “close.”

At least the mother of 14 has some good news. She’s been off welfare for a month, so the money she’s been making has done some good for her family. She’s also still a part of Dial-a-Star, a phone service that allows people like you and me to call Octomom for a price. I wonder how many people call just to yell at her.
