Here is just one of the million reasons it must be great to live in New York City — the annual ‘No Pants’ subway ride. Celebrating its 11th year, subway riders throughout New York stripped to their underwear (only from the waist down) this past Sunday afternoon as part of a global practical joke organized by Improv Everywhere.

More than 6,300 people had accepted a Facebook invitation to participate in the event by 3 p.m. Sunday. Here are some photos of the pantless riders.
