Congratulations once again to the Midwestern State Mustangs soccer team on winning the championship a few weeks ago.

In case you missed the game, you can watch the Mustangs win it all above. This is the first team championship ever for Midwestern State. I will give a shout out to Brenna Moore, she did win as an individual champion for Midwestern State back in 2015 for women's golf. Looks like Midwestern State wants to honor the team with a parade through campus and everyone is invited to come out and enjoy.

Wichita Falls Men's Soccer Championship Parade Info

Sunday January 25, 2026 at 2PM. A parade will be taking place through Midwestern State University and everyone can come on out to cheer on the Mustangs. The school also announced anybody wanting championship gear to mark the occasion. That is now in the school bookstore and online as well.

Basketball Back in Action This Week in Wichita Falls

If you want to support some more Mustangs this week. Both the men's and women's basketball teams have their first home games of 2026 tomorrow night. Hopefully the soccer team is the first of many team championships coming back to Wichita Falls during this school year, but we will have to wait and see. You can see a full schedule for all the sporting events coming up at Midwestern State University on their website.
