Who is the Most Obnoxious College Football Fanbase in Texas?

Another college football season is about to kickoff, but which of our fine universities across The Lone Star State has the most obnoxious fans.

Overton Insights recently conducted a survey with over 1,000 college football fans. The survey simply asked, "Which of the following college fan bases would you say is the most obnoxious?" Here are the results.

Can I say, I was a little surprised with the results. Not with the top two. We all knew Longhorns or Aggies were taking the top spots, we just needed to see who took that top spot. Sorry to the 12th Man, but you guys came out on top. The midnight yell tradition is probably a safe bet as to why you came out on top.

I was shocked that The University of Houston came in at three. No offense to Red Raiders fans, but I had you guys as a lock for the three spot. I could see how other fans could find the tortilla toss a little obnoxious during games. I don't even think of The University of Houston as a college football school. They're definitely one of the few schools in Texas where everyone thinks of basketball first over football.

Best Odds to Win College Football Championship in 2026?

According to Fanduel, Texas has the best odds at +800. Followed by Texas Tech at +2000 and Texas A&M at +2500. Those three have the best odds before the season kicks off, the next closest Texas school is SMU at +12,500.
