Wichita Falls Man on Oklahoma’s Most Wanted List Arrested in Texas
The Oklahoma Attorney General had this individual on their Most Wanted List since January. He was arrested last week in Fort Worth and is facing some very serious charges.
Back in January of 2022, Michael Marlow was involved in a two vehicle car accident in Cotton County, Oklahoma. Marlow's blood was tested after the accident to see if he was under the influence of any substances. He tested positive for methamphetamine. Sadly an individual was killed in the accident and Marlow was charged with 1st Degree Manslaughter. Looks like Marlow has been on the run from this charge for quite some time.
It was back in January that the Oklahoma Attorney General, Gentner Drummond, officially put Marlow on his Most Wanted Fugitives List in the state. Due to the 1st degree manslaughter charge and also Marlow's prior convictions. Which include, making a false police report, property theft, driving without valid driver's license, driving while suspended, engaging in organized criminal activity, burglary, driving under the influence, striking an unattended vehicle and fleeing a police officer.
Looks like investigators were able to track Marlow to a residential address in Fort Worth. The Texas Attorney General was able to coordinate an arrest operation to the tip and it looks like Marlow will be heading to Oklahoma to face the 1st Degree Manslaughter charge.
"This arrest demonstrates our commitment to bringing dangerous offenders to justice, no matter where they attempt to hide," said Drummond. "I commend our investigators and our law enforcement partners in Texas for their exceptional collaboration in locating and apprehending this fugitive who fled our state to escape accountability."
