$41 Million Texas Lotto Ticket Sold at Mesquite 7-Eleven
If you recently bought a Texas Lotto ticket at 7-Eleven in Mesquite, you need to check your numbers ASAP. Seriously, don’t let the grass grow under your feet because you only have 180 days to claim your prize. After that time, the only thing you’ll get is the heartbreak that comes with knowing you should be a millionaire but instead are doomed to living paycheck to paycheck.

Anyway, the latest winner hit it big, scoring the $41 million jackpot in Monday’s (April 20) Lotto Texas drawing. The lucky player bought the ticket at 7-Eleven Convenience Store #36375A, located at 3700 Interstate Highway 30, in Mesquite, according to a press release. The Quick Pick ticket matched all six numbers drawn: 21-28-33-34-43-44. Since they selected the cash value option, the winner will receive an estimated $22.5 million before Uncle Sam takes his cut.
Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
