The legendary rock band Sublime has decided to start their own touring festival and North Texas will be the first to experience it this May.

If you want bragging rights to say you were a part of the first ever Sublime Festival. It is going down May 9th. This had been announced a few months ago, but we now know the full festival lineup. Before we only knew Sublime and Slightly Stoopid were performing at the event, which is not enough for a full festival.

Me Gusta Festival May 9, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas

The festival takes it's name from the Sublime song 'Caress Me Down'. “Me gusta mi reggae, me gusta punk rock," which is what this festival will be supporting. Punk rock and reggae music. It’s always been our dream to put on a Festival for our friends and family,” says Jakob Nowell, front man of Sublime. “It’s punk rock, hip hop, reggae, surf — all facets of true west coast alternative culture that has been kept alive for generations by fans and musicians alike. This is our era now and we got nothing but love for everyone coming with us.” 

Craft Beer Tastings Will Be a Part of the Festival as Well

For those 21+, you can add on a craft beer tasting with your festival ticket. You can sample the best local, regional, and national craft beer, hard seltzer, and cider. You can add on the beer tasting for $18 with the purchase of any festival ticket. You can get tickets on the Me Gusta Website.

Me Gusta Festival Moves Onto Oregon in June

So far, Sublime have only announced two dates for their inaugural festival. As of right now, we only know the state that the second date will be taking place in. June 27th Me Gusta Festival moves to Oregon. No lineup or venue has been announced yet.
