The time has finally arrived to listen to Korn's 13th album, The Nothing, which you can stream now. Head toward the bottom of this post to hear their latest endeavor.

The band recently released “Can You Hear Me,” the third single from the album. It followed the catchy “You’ll Never Find Me” and the brutally heavy “Cold.”

In a recent interview with Loudwire, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis discussed that his approach to recording the album, which was done following the tragic loss of his wife, was to write lyrics in the studio and record them right away, capturing his raw emotions.

“I never know what’s going on until that moment,” Davis says of the recording process. “That’s why I love records. Each record is different because it’s a different moment in time. That’s how I’ve always done it. It drives producers crazy sometimes…[but] it’s better to do what’s in your heart and walk away.”

In the same interview, bassist Brian "Head" Welch reflects on how the frontman translated grief to his performance on the album.

“Jonathan really uses his lyrics and writing records as therapy for himself,” he says. “It’s like he processes his pain with music and creativity. The thing he went through last year was the worst you could go through, losing someone like that—the mother of your kids. It’s just another level than other records. It’s really special, really raw, and extremely authentic.”

In addition, Korn announced a new podcast that also is titled The Nothing. The series "tells the story of journalist Matt Singer who travels to the small town of Wellden, Kansas to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl.  He soon discovers not everything is as it seems in the rural community, and finds himself heading into his own heart of darkness."

The Nothing is out now via Roadrunner. Get your Korn concert tickets here.
