The man who laid down some of the most legendary bass lines in metal has teamed up with JamPlay to teach you the right way to play Pantera's most popular tracks as well as new stuff from Kill Devil Hill.

Probably one of the most underrated bassists out there, Rex Brown was responsible for holding down the groove while Dimebag Darrell worked his six string magic. Pantera were adamant about replicating their studio work in a live setting, and being a band without a rhythm guitarist meant that Rex was typically on his own while Dime soloed.

"This isn't your ordinary video series," says Rex in the above video. "You can throw the scales, you can throw the theory, you can throw everything out the window. The only thing you need to bring is a desire to throw down on the bass."

You can get unlimited monthly access to JamPlay for $19.95 a month or save a few bones by subscribing annually or even quarterly if you're not willing to commit to a full year.
