Fourth of July is about America and today Joey Chestnut once again dominated in eating the most American food possible, hot dogs. Did you know he has competed in Texas before?

Watch Joey Chestnut Dominate Hot Dogs on the Fourth of July

The G.O.A.T. debate is had in every sport and everyone has an argument for someone different. In the world of competitive eating, it's not a debate. It's Joey F***ing Chestnut forever and always. Maybe one day someone will dethrone him, but right now he's still the best. Joey made his return to the fan favorite Nathan's Hot Dog competition today and won by twenty five hot dogs.

Can We Get Joey Chestnut Back in Texas for Tamales?

Joey Chestnut is officially signed by Major League Eating and their next event scheduled for Texas is the World Tamale Eating Championship in Lewisville. I was curious as if Joey has ever competed and he has several times. His last win at the event was in 2020 when he ate 93 tamales in ten minutes. Joey was two away from the record at 95. I need the G.O.A.T. back in Texas to win this event on September 27.

Manor, Texas Sausage Eating Competition

The only other Major League Eating competition in Texas takes place in the small town of Manor, just east of Austin. James Webb currently has the record at 53 sausages in ten minutes. Obviously it's more meat with sausage compared to hot dog, but no bread with this competition. From what I can see, Joey has never competed in this one. He will have to wait until May to give this one a shot.
