One of Texas' most beloved "soft" drinks is getting in on the "spicy" trend with a new limited time flavor.

Dr Pepper revealed the 2023 limited-edition flavor of the beloved soft drink.

Its becoming an annual tradition, as part of its tie-in with college football, for Dr Pepper to release a "limited edition" flavor.

Last year, they released a Dr Pepper Bourbon Flavored Fansville Reserve which was described as alcohol free and is just flavored to taste like bourbon.

This year they are making things HOT With Its New Spicy Flavor Called "Hot Take".

Dr Pepper Hot Take is being described by the company as a fiery turn on the original 23 flavors, harnessing the bold flavors of spicy peppers. What peppers are in there EXACTLY, we don't know, but according to food website Delish.com, someone who tried it described it as:

It wasn't too bad. It takes a few seconds for the heat to set in, and then it lingers in your throat. While something about it made me repeatedly sneeze, I kept taking another sip, eventually cutting myself off to avoid looming heartburn.
