As the media circus surrounding all of American politics continues, citizens finally have an answer to one of the biggest questions we've asked in years.

If elected to the Presidency of the United States, will Joe Exotic pardon President Trump if convicted of his alleged crimes?

A little backstory.

In the super-quick version of the story, Tiger King Joe Exotic grabbed worldwide fame for Oklahoma right as the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March 2020. He rose to fame, introduced the world to Carol Baskins, and was eventually tried and convicted of a slew of wildlife violations as well as hiring a hitman to kill his rival--Carol Baskins.

During Trump's first term, Exotic and Tiger King supporters were absolutely convinced Joe would catch a presidential pardon for the crimes he claims innocence of still, but the pardon never came.

Joe Exotic now resides in and runs his 2024 presidential campaign from a federal penitentiary in North Carolina.

Yes, it's legal and it's not the first time.

Can you run for president while in prison as a convicted felon? Yeah. This is America and the only limits on being POTUS are you have to be a natural-born citizen, lived in the country for at least fourteen years, and be at least 35 years old. The constitution doesn't mention a rap sheet. In fact, three other Americans have run for President while incarcerated over the years.

What if he wins?

While highly unlikely, Joe Exotic could win the presidency in an academic sense of the meaning. Just as the constitution doesn't prohibit a felon from holding office, it also doesn't outline how that would work.

For all intents and purposes, Joe would have to run the country from his jail cell... which isn't that odd of a suggestion given the history of the presidents during my lifetime. Odds are they've all played stupid games but have been spared the stupid prizes.
