Add Another to the List of Closed Restaurants in Wichita Falls

Right before football season is about to start. My go to brunch place on Sundays before a Cowboys game just announced they're closing their doors. Just a few hours ago, Highlander Public House in downtown Wichita Falls announced they're closing their doors.

It looks like a big reason for the closure is issues with ongoing construction that lead to issues within the restaurant itself and the building owners not doing a lot to help out. From their statement, which I encourage you to read above. It is possible Highlander could move somewhere else in Wichita Falls and this is hopefully not them being gone for good. We already lost Karat Bar and Bistro in downtown Wichita Falls, my other go to for brunch on Sundays and I legitimately do not know where to go.

Please List Wichita Falls Brunch Spots for Me!

As far as I am aware, Highlander was the only place open at 10AM on Sundays, that served alcohol. This is all I want in a Wichita Falls brunch place and as far as I know, the last one just closed. Backporch does have brunch on Sundays, but they don't open til 10:30. I'll give that place a go this season, but as far as I know within Wichita Falls city limits, that is my only option. If I am missing somewhere, please tell me in the comments. Sunday brunch is severly lacking in our city and I will miss Highlander while they're gone.
