Looks like folks that prepaid for tickets are wanting refunds after a full lineup was announced this week and many can see why.

Above was the announcement for the Gordy's Highway 30 Festival back in June. A country festival that has been rocking in Idaho for over a decade now. Last year was the first time that Gordy's Highway 30 Festival hit the road adding a stop right here in North Texas at The Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Now many prepaid for festival tickets thinking that our country festival, would look like the one in Idaho that happened in June above. Here is what Fort Worth got.

Obviously the Idaho festival focused on country and rock. Here in Texas we have country and throwback hip hop for some reason which has left many confused. This is not what Gordy's Highway 30 Festival looked like in Texas last year. It was very similar to the one in Idaho for 2023.

This is what fans paid to go to last year. A country focused festival with some rock bands in the mix as well. As you can see in 2023, all the big bold names leading the way are country artists. In 2024, the only country artist is Reckless Kelly in bold. Many fans that prepaid for festival tickets are wanting refunds thinking they got duped and apparently they're not being offered.

I will say that most festivals that have stops in different states do mix up the lineups. However, if you eliminated the name of the festival off the Texas and Idaho lineups. You would never think these two things are associated with each other for 2024. We will see if a country/hip hop festival is what gets folks to Texas Motor Speedway in a few weeks.
