Gangster Squad May Be A New Gangster Classic

I know the title of this blog is a little simple, but it’s the truth.  I went back and watched Scarface, a movie that is widely revered, not long ago and found it to be very dated.  At that time I thought, why doesn’t somebody make a new gangster movie for a new generation?  It seems they did and I have the trailer for you on the other side.

This has the earmarks of a new “Scarface” or more accurately “The Untouchables-West Coast Edition”.  It has all the big stars, big loot and dames required to make a big dent in the box office.  Enough of my rambling though, here’s the trailer for “Gangster Squad”
