It happens every year. We all seem to eat too much on Thanksgiving Day. But do we do it because we feel obligated to have at least a little bit of everything that everyone brought? Or do we do it because we love the food? It turns out there are several traditional Thanksgiving dishes that a lot of us don't particularly care for, and some outright hate.

According to Instacart.com, the five least favorite foods at thanksgiving range from pumpkin pie to turkey.

Yup. Even the turkey made the list. Barely. It came in at #5 with 19% saying they didn't care for it.

The 4th least favorite Thanksgiving dish is pumpkin pie. What? A full 21% said they didn't care for pumpkin pie. There is something seriously wrong with these people. Fix me a slice of pumpkin pie with a dab of whipped cream and a steaming cup of coffee and I'm in heaven.

In the middle of the top five least favorite Thanksgiving foods is sweet potatoes and sweet potato casserole. It garnered a 22% share. Personally, I never touch sweet potatoes. That goes back to a Thanksgiving party several years ago and is best left in the past.

Green bean casserole came in at #2 with 24% saying they didn't care for it. I beg to differ on this one. I've been a fan of green beans, inside a casserole or not, since I was a kid.

Coming in at #1, the least favorite Thanksgiving dish, with a 29% share, is canned cranberry sauce. That kinda makes sense, I mean it came from a can. If someone had taken the time to make it from scratch that would be another thing.

There you have it, the top five least loved Thanksgiving foods. And lets don't even start with the whole leftover debate.
