Five Finger Death Punch have been working on their new album in the studio, documenting their progress through video clips. In the latest video (seen below), the group previews some of the music they've written so far.

The first bit of a new song we hear is a power ballad, tender and acoustic-driven at first before distortion gives the song some muscle. On the heavier side, Five Finger Death Punch share what sounds like some of their most punishing material since debuting with The Way of the Fist in 2007.

And how about that shredding action from Zoltan Bathory? The clip only serves up a few seconds of it, but it's enough to get a little surge of adrenaline.

The band has no official timetable for the release of the follow-up to last year's Got Your Six, though singer Ivan Moody has stated that he hopes the album will be out in early 2020.

The remainder of 2019 looks busy for Five Finger Death Punch, with a North American arena tour set to launch on Nov. 1, featuring  Three Days GraceBad Wolves and Fire From the Gods. See the list of stops beneath the studio clip.
