Wichita Falls Firm Becomes Target Of Scam

Real estate management firm Andy Lee Company has become the latest victim of an online scam.  Several area businesses and individuals have reportedly received an email, allegedly from Andy Lee, asking for help.

The email states that Lee is in London, England and has been robbed of his cell phone, cash and credit cards and is need of financial assistance.  News Talk 1290 spoke with Del Lee, father of Andy Lee, who confirmed that it is in fact a scam.  He advises anyone who receives the email not to reply.

Replying to the email could compromise your contacts list or customer database.  The Wichita Falls Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce have been notified about this latest scam.   The Chamber says at least one other local business person has been victimized by this scam this week.
