Over the weekend several people had windows on their vehicles broken and sadly another Wichita Falls Mane Event statue has been destroyed.

The Wichita Falls police are currently asking for the public's help for any information on the several acts of vandalism that took place on Saturday night. Apparently a group of 20-30 teens decided to cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage in downtown Wichita Falls. Several folks that were parking on Scott Avenue downtown had their windows smashed on their vehicles. Police say they have security footage of this damage, but has not been released to the public yet.

Another Mane Event Horse Has Been Destroyed

The most viral damage over the weekend unfortunately took place to another Mane Event Horse that was named 'Choose Your Side'. This horse was also known as the 'Marvel Horse' near Big Blue since it had the classic Marvel heroes and villains on it. The person that actually designed the horse, Amy Jones-Walker shared photos of her now destroyed piece of art.

The Wichita Falls police say an investigation is underway in the Crimes Against Property Unit. It had been sometime since one of these horse statues was destroyed. Unfortunately for a period of time it was becoming a pattern in Wichita Falls.

Texas Oncology Horse Vandalized in October Last Year

Texas Oncology's horse named Hope was actually done by a cancer survivor and employee at their business. This horse became a place that many would take photos at after their last round of cancer treatments.

Brook and Kell Storage Horse Also Vandalized Last Year

The other horse that was destroyed last year was located outside of Brook and Kell Storage. Wichita Falls police say since the horses are worth several thousand dollars the charge is criminal mischief which is an arrestable offense.
