"Doomsday Comet" Passes By-Nothing Happens [VIDEO]

The comet known as YU 55 has passed the earth.  No one died. No one turned into zombies.  It just sped by like a giant deformed Chicklett.  Check out a cool video after the jump.

In space terms this was a “close call” with earth.  The asteroid traveled between the earth and the moon, about 9/10th of the distance to the moon.  In simple terms, if the moon was ten feet away, the asteroid was nine feet away. Here’s a six frame movie of the actual asteroid.
