Different Types of Metal Explained by Cartoon Network’s ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’

Now this is my kind of children's educational television. In a brief scene from Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball, a monster-looking bus driver lines out the differences between Grindcore, Black Metal and Viking Metal.

While I appreciate the fact that a kids show is talking about my favorite genre of music, I have to say the Black Metal impersonation sounds a little more like Death Metal to me, but I ain't bitchin'. I'm always happy when the underground gets a little mainstream exposure.

And you gotta love the character describing metalheads by saying we try to be hardcore, but we're just hippies who like leather. Touche.
