Front Porch Sports crunched the numbers on the most miserable fanbases in sports. They broke it down by this criteria:

• Colleges are football only (except Gonzaga).
• Adaptation to Losing: Teams rank lower as fans grow accustomed to losing.
• Fan Expectations: High expectations unmet.
• Rival Dominance: The success of rivals while their own team isn’t good.
• Recent Performance: Records and playoff disappointments.
