A spicy favorite is returning to Dairy Queen for a limited time, and I’m not sure I’m brave enough to try it. Don’t get me wrong – I love spicy food as long as I can actually enjoy it. But I want no part of eating in agony. 

Surely, you’ve heard of the Carolina Reaper. I first heard about the world’s hottest pepper about 9 years ago when I watched two girls attempt to eat one and immediately regretted it. Watching them suffer was enough to ensure I would never, ever knowingly eat a Carolina Reaper.

But for those who can handle the heat, Dairy Queen is bringing back the Carolina Reaper Taco for a limited time. The taco is so hot that you can only get it in Texas. Dairy Queen breaks it down in a press release: 

Each taco starts with a crispy corn shell filled with Carolina Reaper-infused Monterey Jack cheese, seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes. The zesty tacos are topped off with a cool cilantro lime crema sauce to complete the legendary flavor of the Carolina Reaper Taco.
