Conroe Player Wins $1 Million Texas Lottery Jackpot
The Texas Lottery has awarded yet another $1 million jackpot. It’s early in 2026, and they’ve already handed out several million dollars’ worth of prizes this year.
You would think that after writing one or two new Texas Lottery millionaires every week, I would finally give in to temptation and buy a scratch-off, but you would be wrong. I have yet to spend money on a scratch-off because I’m an old tightwad with little faith that I would even win a break-even prize (which I would be quite happy about; that’s how bad my luck is when it comes to gambling).

Where the Winning Ticket Was Sold
Anyway, enough about me and bad luck. Let’s talk about someone who is the exact opposite. The latest jackpot winner is a Conroe resident who wisely chose to remain anonymous, according to a press release. They hit it big in the Extreme Multiplier game with a scratch-off they bought at Fuel Maxx #88, located at 17160 Highway 105 E. (Suite 100), in Conroe.
There’s still a chance you could win $1 million in the game. So far, only two of the four jackpots have been claimed. There are also 4 $100,000-winning tickets in circulation, as well as 20 $10,000 prizes that have yet to be claimed. Extreme Multiplier will pay more than $123 million in prizes.
Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
