Wichita Falls is known for many awesome events throughout the year. A big one is going down next weekend called Cajunfest. Yes of course, delicious cajun food will be on the menu. Live music and a kids area have been a part of Cajunfest for the past sixteen years. However, just three years ago they introduced something new to Cajunfest. A Mullet Contest.

Back in 2022, the first ever Mullet Content went down at Cajunfest and it has become an annual tradition since. If you know someone that rocks the Kentucky Waterfall or Mississippi Top Hat as a hairstyle, you need to tell them to get their butt to Cajunfest next weekend. 

Josiah is a Three Time Winner

Josiah here has won the contest every year it has been put on. It's tough to beat a preschooler with those moves and that hair. We will see if this little guy can make it four years in row next Saturday (Hopefully Josiah is still rocking the mullet).

Crawfish Eating Contest

If you don't have the time to grow a mullet for next Saturday. You can try to be the fastest person to consume a pound of craw fish with potatoes and corn. You have two opportunities throughout the event to sign up for your shot to win.

Best Duck Call Contest

The final contest of the day is probably the easiest to take part in, if you don't mind embarrassing yourself a little. Seeing who can produce the best duck call. They're looking for loudest and most unique sounding calls.
