Cage the Elephant ‘Come a Little Closer’ – Crank It or Yank It

Today I debut the new Cage the Elephant track 'Come a Little Closer'. The tune comes from their upcoming album Melophobia, due out October 8 on RCA Records.

The band managed to keep a pretty low profile after wrapping up the tour behind their sophomore album Thank You, Happy Birthday until recently releasing 'Come a Little Closer' as a teaser for the upcoming album.

The thing about Cage the Elephant is that I've never felt like the band released the same song twice, yet they have a very distinct sound. 'Come a Little Closer' is a nod to their earlier, more bluesy tunes while continuing down the path of their last album in a more indie rock direction.
