ACDC's Brian Johnson previously starred in a travel television series called Life on the Road, which aired in the U.K. in 2017. AXS-TV has now acquired the series, so it will be arriving on U.S. TV screens this fall. Metallica's Lars Ulrich and Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant are among the stars featured in the upcoming season of the series.

As per the title, Johnson travels around the world and interviews fellow musicians to discuss their touring lives and other musical anecdotes from their careers. “To sit and chat with my friends and heroes while filming On the Road was ridiculous fun, and with no professional journalists around, you can feel the trust,” the singer said in a statement.

Some of the episodes involve the featured musician taking Johnson on a trip down memory lane, like Sting accompanying him to the original site of the CBGB club in New York, where the Police played their very first show.

"AXS TV strives to provide our classic rock audience with the absolute best music programming on the market today, and we are proud to continue that strong tradition with the addition of Brian Johnson: A Life on the Road," said Lucia McCalmont, the vice president of programming and scheduling for AXS TV. "True music connoisseurs won’t want to miss this incredible event.”

Keen eyed viewers may also notice Joe Walsh listed on the schedule, which likely explains the photo of the pair that sparked many to think they were working on music together.

The first episode premieres Sept. 15 at 9pm ET. See the full episode list and air dates below.
