Quick History of Tacofest in Wichita Falls

Well it was back in 2021 our former Mayor of Wichita Falls Stephen Santellana shared a Facebook comment he received after a city council meeting. Clearly meant to be a racist attack, but Mr. Santellana decided to take this negative into a positive and prove that everybody loves to eat tacos. Mr. Santellana is no longer our mayor, but Tacofest is still going strong and is happening this weekend.

Tacofest This Saturday in 713 Ohio Avenue from 5pm to 10pm

Hopefully many tacos are consumed on Saturday, but today I thought it would be fun to show some love to our favorite taco restaurants in Wichita Falls. As always when I do these top tens, they're from Yelp and NOT ME. So don't complain to me about the order, I didn't do it. This is based on reviews from locals and not my own personal opinion. Even though some of my favorites are definitely on here.
