Bad Wolves have been on the road as part of Five Finger Death Punch's co-headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin since late July. At their Aug. 26 stop in Holmdel, New Jersey, they brought out a surprise special guest: singer Tommy Vext's mom.

Part-way through Bad Wolves' performance of "Zombie," their now platinum-certified cover of the the Cranberries' 1993 hit, Vext walked toward the back of the stage where a handful of people were watching the show and returned with his arm wrapped around his mom. He introduced her to the crowd and encouraged her to sing with him. "Make some noise for my mom," Vext exclaimed before the two shared a loving embrace and she walked offstage.

The North American tour, which also features Nothing More, will come to a close on Sept. 9. Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin will embark on another co-headlining North American trek on Nov. 6, this time with Bad Wolves in tow on select dates. They'll be relieved by In Flames after dropping off the tour and From Ashes to New will provide support on the full run. See a list of all Bad Wolves dates here.

Earlier this month, "Zombie" became the first rock song of 2018 to reach platinum status in the United States. “This year the global rock community came together to support our efforts to turn a tragic loss into something hopeful," said Vext. "This resounding effect with music fans around the world for the better part of a year now is a strong testament of Dolores’ timeless songwriting and the message of the song being as relevant today as it’s ever been," he added, concluding, "We are truly grateful.”
