Are Changes Coming to the Movie Theaters in Wichita Falls?

Living in Wichita Falls, we know the movies are split between Carmike and Cinemark. The next two weeks some movies will be at both theaters. So what is going on? 

So as some of you may know. I am a huge TMNT fan. So, I am super excited to see the new movie. Of course, living in Wichita Falls. I had to see what theater it was going to be at. I was shocked, both of them. Carmike and Cinemark will both have Ninja Turtles. Badass, I yelled looking at my phone the other night.

Then, today one of my co-workers said 'X-Men Apocalypse' is at both theaters. What the hell is going on? Are we actually going to be able to pick which theater we want to see a movie at?

After asking around to both theatres, unfortunately, no. It appears as if the movie companies have asked that the movies be shown in as many theaters as possible. So that is why over the next couple weeks, those movies will be shown at both locations.

I know we were all hoping for some changes since AMC bought out Carmike, but looks like we will still be waiting here in Wichita Falls for changes to our movie theaters. Hopefully sooner, rather than later.
